Stretch-n-Grow of Northern Suburbs is a health and fitness class for children aged 18months – 6 years.
They do weekly exercise classes of 30min. Through exercise classes, they teach children the importance of:
1- Exercise (why it is good for our bodies and that exercise is FUN!)
2- Nutrition (What is healthy eating and what unhealthy food does to our bodies)
3- Hygiene (The importance of keeping our bodies and environment clean)
4- Good attitude (I am special, sharing, being happy and kind etc)
5- Rest (What my body does while I sleep and why we have to rest our bodies)
Part of Stretch-n-Grow also does Camp Fit classes. Action-packed fitness boot camp classes specifically designed to get 5-10 year olds moving, using fitness equipment and amazing props to add variety to every class! Stretch-n-Grow provides 30 minutes of vigorous physical activity while teaching the importance of a healthy lifestyle and having a whole lot of fun!
Camp fit classes include:
Obstacle courses and relay races
Cardiovascular and endurance training
Speed and agility drills
Team building exercises
