Pipe Cleaner Christmas Trees

Christmas is just around the corner and here is a cute idea to make super cute pipe cleaner Christmas Trees from zingzingtree.com

Pipe Cleaner Christmas Trees

All you need are some 30cm green pipe cleaners (I used cotton pipe cleaners as they work better with pva glue but chenille could work just as well you just might find them a bit thick), mini pom poms and some pva glue.

Pipe Cleaner tree materials

Curl your pipe cleaner into a snail shell shape. Carefully pull up from the center. Wrap/tuck the outer end of the pipe cleaner around the next curl to secure a circle base (this allows the pipe cleaner to stand). Glue your pom poms to the pipe cleaner.

Pipe Cleaner Trees Construction

I love to use them as mini decorations on tables and shelves. They also get hung on my twig trees and my girls always whisk a few off to place in dolls and playmobil houses.
