                  CAR SAFETY

                  MAY 2011

There has been a vast increase in the amount of car accidents over the last few months, many leaving children dead or injured due to the lack  of appropriate car safety knowledge.

Children have to be in a booster chair up to 3 years of age, and must be securely fastened and their arms must be tucked in.

Children over 3 must be in a seatbelt, but normal size seat belts do not fit young kids. Therefore a  Secure-A-Kid should be used ( as seen below).

It is of utmost importance that we abide by these laws and regulations, and that we always have our child’s safety on our mind at all times.

Let us prevent all these accidents and child deaths, and take a step towards prevention and protection.

Secure-A-Kid Safety harness for Car Seat belts

Normal car seat belts are just too big for children, they are built for adults, and thus does not give them the protection they need.

Protect your child – give your child maximum comfort and the best possible support using the Secure-A-Kid.

Kids always seem to manage to get out of their car seat or booster seat straps.

Finally, a baby car-seat clip that will keep your toddler in safely in the car seat!

Easy Sleepers

Easy Sleepers™ ensure that the child is not only comfortable but her/his head in a healthy, upright position that contributes to the safety factors as set out by the car seat manufacturers.

It has full endorsement from the Chiropractic Association of South Africa (CASA) and has been approved for endorsement by the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC).

Preggy Protector

Effective in helping to maintain the seat belt over the hip area rather than the abdomen, without affecting the safety use of the seat belt.

The Preggy Protector™ works together with all motor vehicle seat belts by preventing the lap belt from riding up onto a woman’s pregnant stomach. This will ensure the safety of the unborn child should sudden braking or a low speed collision occur.
